One of the best parts

about mornings when Carolyn and I were kids was sharing the funny pages.  We read them every day.  Even the ones we called “serious,” which were mainly grouped on the second, or “bad”, page.  We each discovered that the other had begun reading the serious ones quite by accident.  It happened around the time that Mary Worth was dating an older gentleman.  Carolyn cried out, “Oh, Mary,” and I was all, “I know, right?”  and we looked at one another over soggy frosted flakes and realized we shared a secret shame. The only comic we held in mutual low regard was Gil Thorpe.

Anyway, this blog where a gentleman explains Marmaduke cartoons made me laugh so hard I spit on my screen.
